    The Beta Thread

How many of you guys with Captivates would like to try Beta's before release? This thread won't be just for one build, but will be for all beta builds...

BUT... Since this is a beta thread, please know that I don't guarantee anything with these ROM's as most of the time they're still rough around the edges. They will no more harm your phone than any other ROM, but some might have more bugs than normal.

I'll be posting a link to XWJS5 Beta-1 here in a little while, if anyone would like to try it.

    CURRENT VERSION is XWJS8:

doing a quick search i see that XWJS5 has improvements in battery life and speed. If it is a firmware update, will the speedmod kernels still support XWJS5?

Bring it on! I'm ready to test.

On another note, would it be possible for you to make some kind of table comparing your current ROMs and these future beta releases (on your website of course). It would be really great to quickly refer to something that would list the differences/pros & cons of each ROM. Right now, they all seem pretty equal, so I just go with whatever gets updated most often (JK3).

LOL. I was thinking just the same thing the other day about the Aria. I wish Gingerbread were more stable on the Galaxy S phones...
