I just don't want to brick it

    Darkyy's Dark Core kernel
    Samsung JVP 2.3.4 Gingerbread Base
UGJK4 Modem (Oddly enough, that's the only one I can get to cooperate with 2.3.4 on 850MHz, but that's subjective)
Stock Voodoo Lagfix implemented on first boot (it will notify you with voice prompts on 1st boot)
Google Music 3.0 is the stock Music Player app
    Voodoo Sound V9
Added haptic home feedback to JVP frameworks
    Reworked Notification Area
Email app 3.0.0.1 with full Exchange support
    Fixed OpenGL drivers
And a couple of system tweaks...

Enjoy! And remember, this is like all the beta's... it's a full wipe.

CM7 has froyo/eclair bootloaders. You need to start from step 1 but I would recommend flashing back to stock eclair to wipe CM7 off just to be super safe. It optional though

Is Dorian still using CWM 2.5.x for all his stuff? Not that there's anything wrong with it, I've just been running Apex7 and Continuum5.6 and don't really want to go all the way back to stock to try this ROM (if I don't have to).

When charging, the battery icon flashes as a fat one again like it happened in the past...

I was able to flash using Darky kernel which is CWM 3, you might be successful flashing using Talon

Sorry for the issues guys! IDK why the data folder would be the issue... it worked fine for me the 12 or so times I flashed it. ? Hmm. Corrupted upload, it would have to be.

But yes, this is CWM 3.0. I felt it's a step I needed to move to in beta's. CWM 3.0 uses better scripting, and better protocol... generally more safe for the user. Plus it's what's new. LOL.

But thanks nakedninja42, for helping out! I'm at work during the day, most of the time. Let me know what issues you guys see! The battery charging icon is noted ktuluslav.

Are you aware of all the Video Call options still in the dialer? I found a few but figured that was because its beta , let me know if we should record where we find them.

I am. I'm actually readying a package for JVH 2.0 that will get rid of that, along with a few more fixes. On the beta's I don't usually remove them... However, I think this one should be stable by version 2. It's actually not that bad, right now. I'm liking Darkyy's kernel also, so it may make an appearance on some other ROM's of mine soon.

But yea, if you see more, let me know where you saw them... and if possible, if you could reproduce it.

I thought I saw two spots with video call but the only one I can find again is in the contacts.I installed xcal 2.0 and its running great. What will be the big advantage of using darky vs xcal?

I think that this is as stable as any other GB ROM I've tried over on XDA. I am hoping the next release is a non wipe :D
