About the kernel, I'll need to look at xcal's 2.0 kernel. It must have just come out today. The big thing I like about Darkyy's kernel is that all the lagfix options and such are in the recovery menu, whereas on xcal's it isn't. You can boot into Darkyy's recovery and undo/redo lagfix, even if your phone won't boot into Android.
BTW, apparently existz (talon kernel dev) is going to be releasing a new kernel soon based on Xcal's but he's adding lagfix and more. quote below was posted last night:

"I built it off Xcals and added in a few things from Talon such as UV for stock frequencies, our 340ish ram config, a few battery saving features such as increasing battery polling, light sensor polling..added cifs/tun support, some security fixes from fugumod kernel...I added the cwm3 from Talon with option to wipe VC settings, reboot to download mode and power off options..also added a voodoo lagfix menu to recovery to control lagfix.. added speedmod color/sharpness fix, fixed KTLO with new samsung source...plus quite a bit more...but most of it has already been tested with Talon so its quite stable.. There's alot of little fixes like that added, nothing really major like Talon, so the overall stability of xcals should not be effected.. I might put it up today/tomorrow"

ATT stock KF1 released at samfirmware.com. I know the Europe JVP is based on 2.3.4 and US KF1 is 2.3.3. Are you going to do anything with it or continue on the I9000 ROMS?

Well, I can't get this JVP to work, so I'll just wait for the JVH 2.0 update, as it's working flawlessly for me. I'll probably stick with this build until I upgrade to the SGSII in July when it comes out (finally) for AT&T.

    Sorry I can't help, but maybe you could look here: [KERNEL]eXistZ JVP-Voodoo v1.0.0 [Voodoo Lagfix/Sound v9][UV Support][339MB] - xda-developers
