About the laggy app drawer, something must not have flashed right when writing over Mosaic. Default, the app drawer should be silky smooth. ?

Did you perform a wipe in clockworkmod before flashing over Mosaic?

EDIT: Also, I was wondering what kind of battery life you're seeing... or anyone else is seeing...
Bad flash over mosaic is a possibility. I keep the transparency set to 0% with the "none" skin on weather. The ADW screenshot is how I intended it to look, I've kept it set that way for months now.

Battery life... I did this while doing the other screen shots. 90% to 9% in 11 hours. Granted, this may be a fluke. I didn't start with a full charge, it is a new battery (seidio 1600mAh) that I got on Friday, and I was working in areas with damaged AT&T towers all day.

Yea, I thought the Galaxy S2 camera would be ok, but it's getting scrapped in an update later today.

Thank you again for all of your work on this. I like your JS8 so much that I almost didn't switch, but wound up breaking down after a couple hours and flashing this yesterday. I am surprised that samsung built a good enough rom that you were able to build off of it. Their eclair and froyo builds were horrible. So far I love this rom. My only complaints are the camera (which you are already fixing, so please disregard) and the keyboard. I know you said earlier in this thread that keyboard changes were on the way at some point, I just have to beg a little for the gingerbread keyboard to be added soon. I'm not a swype user, and the samsung keyboard is a piece of crap. Again thank you, your captivate roms are better than anything else out there that i've tried. And usually much easier to flash.

Also, is the lagfix not needed on this rom? I have no options for it in CWM

The xcal kernel does not have lagfix, its running the native rfs, (xcal mentioned yesterday he is still working on voodoo lagfix for his kernel). In the mean time, if you want lagfix, go to XDA and install Talon. There is no CWM options for lagfix, but Talon from existz has support, so you have to use an app in the app drawer to covert to Ext4

To fix the keyboard issues just install "Keyboard from Android 2.3 from Steven Lin" that will give you the Gingerbread keyboard. It is not skinned but gets you most of the way there.

Update is almost ready... just a few more things to do.

    What it'll cover:
Replace camera (camera/firmware/libs) with normal camera
Replace music player with Google's new Music Player 3.0
Slim down some UI frameworks (they're overly bloated)
Add Google Car Home (if you didn't update with the last update)

EDIT: Also Gingerbread Keyboard (Forgot that one)

I had to take the GB Keyboard back out, for now. It's not cooperating.
