    Software update issue

    I received the recent update with no problems but now every time I start the phone I get a message that congratulates me on getting the software update and says I can now use the phone. I then have to hit OK to continue. I have spent a great deal of time on the phone with both AT&T and Samsung,or in the AT&T store trying to get this resolved but they do not have any answer other than to say “Do a complete reset, this solves 98% of all Android problems”. Does anyone have a real solution?

    not the same problem but before the update my battery seemed ok now after even with most services off it's dead in about 3 hours and thats after being charged overnight??????

    Did you do a factory reset? Seems that the offered you a solution, you are just balking at what they advised you to do. Personally I would probably suggest a factory reset as well.
