The Motorola DROID Xtreme is described as being SOLID, in terms of build quality. The screen is good with a noticeable improvement over the original Motorola DROID. 4.3-inch screen, 1GHz Snapdragon processor, HDMI out, HD video recording, Android 2.1 with a "new version of Motoblur" and hardware navigation buttons. Very impressive gadget i must say.

I read that the samsung captivate also has an FM radio feature with RDS. Is this not correct?

The Captivate was teased with an FM radio but doesn't have one.

I finally got a samsung captivate and in the applications it has an AT&T radio app. Does the droid x have the same thing or is it an actual function that lets u listen to radio without charging u?

My Droid X was fun while it lasted, but after I bought and used the Captivate for a week, there was no turning back. The display, albeit a bit smaller, is so much better. The sleek flat back (no camera bump like the X) is perfect for giving the phone a "smaller than it really is" feel. Also battery life is better, as are several other areas that are important to me. The next device I have my eyes on is the HTC Desire HD. I love the largest screen possible for my web work on the go. Since the HTC is a similar form factor (no camera bump) to the Samsung I know it will work for me.
