    Samsung Captivate Newbie Question

New to this site and to smart phones, so i'm sure these questions are, to you guys, easy ones lol! First, I have ringtones (music) on my SD card, but every time I remove my SD card, I have to go back in and set each one as a ringtone before it will be on my ringtone list. Is there a way to pull it into the phone without having to do that each time? The only way I can find those ringtones is to hit the search button and scroll through. Wow that sounds like rambling, hope someone can make sense of it lol. I'll just stick with one question at a time!!

    Welcome to the forum!

One question... Why would you be removing your SD?

You can always install a file explorer like Astro and move the ringtones to your internal SD card. Btw welcome to the forum...

Ahh.. Ok. Well, when you take the external SD out it breaks the links to the ringtone files, so Android goes to it's defaults or none. That's why you're having to reset them.
