About LinkBacksTrying to set up my e-mail and it won't complete the process. Message is as follows: Setup could not finish- Username or password incorrect.
Both user name and password is correct as far as I know. I have an at&t account which my e-mail ends in @sbcglobal.net. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Also, tried to set up my corporate e-mail and same result.
BTW, tried doing it manually and with all 3 set-ups (POP3 account, IMAP account, and Exchange account) it will not happen.

make sure that you dont have any spaces between the email. also ty to do it over 3g instead of wifi and vice versa. turn off and back on could work also.

Try checking with the tech support people for your e-mail ISP - had to do that with a previous phone to get one account going. I had similar problems you did setting up that same account on my epic but finally got it set up - maybe because I had tried on wifi as well as 3G and 4G... I do know from those prior phone issues that e-mail account is POP. My gmail account did set up with NO problems though.

i was having the same problem....took me a couple of days to figure it out but try making sure you enter the first letter of your password in lowercase if it is so. the phone auto cap's the first letter.
