I'm sure you could through the WiFi tether, but USB tether is another thing... I doubt the PS3 has drivers for USB tethering. That, and ping times would be through the roof.

I tried so many app's already to use it wireless but none of them my console (PS3) find the "Hotspot or Tether", so doesn't work for me...

Some of "YouTube" videos explain "How To Video" by "ICS" (Internet Connection Sharing) but only for Windows 7 or Vista, not XP.

I don't think I'm making it wrong in each way I try it and get's kinda frustrating for me... Does somebody have an idea to make this "Rooted" phone make sence???

Another reason NOT to do it is because if your carrier thinks you're doing something wrong all it would take is 30 seconds and a packet sniffer and you can get nailed HARD for violating the TOS.

However, have you tried the Google Code app? I know it does infrastructure mode WiFi broadcasting for at least two devices.

No, I haven't use it but after a warning like that I don't think to keep pushing in the theme =(. Are you guys sure that there's nothing else I could try without making that damage/trouble to the sistem? (& hanging my gloves to the wall...) ='(?

BTW, thank you all for your help until now. I really apretiate it =)!

I can honestly say I haven't heard of it happening to a tetherer yet, but it's one of those "it's still risky" things. However, it all depends on your carrier. Verizon seems more permissive, in a neglectful sort of way, but all it'd take is one person being made an example of.

Using torrents heavily is the worst thing you can do while tethering (especially during peak usage hours), but even with that... There used to be (and still may be) a torrenting app.

It comes down to your carrier and where you live. If you live in a densely-populated area I wouldn't risk it because that section of the network is probably policed a lot more than other areas.
