Slow and Painful Charging?
I've been doing some research and it seems to me that a lot of people are having to wait hours for the samsung epic 4g to charge to full..
Is there a fix?
I've read that some people sent their phone back, got a new one, and still had the same problem.
Anything i can do to conserve battery / charge faster?

Really it comes down to kernel optimization and charging temperatures. Currently, if the Epic were to charge faster it would get obscenely hot. IMO, Samsung needs to do some kernel tweaking to fix that... that would allow it to charge faster and stay cooler.

How long does it take to go from a dead battery to a full charge?

EEK! Well thats not too bad. i believe most take about 2 hrs from a dead battery to 100%. Like dorian said an update should fix that. What i do is have an external battery charger (~$20 on amazon) and an extra battery so that I'm ready to go.
This phone is great! I turn on data only when I need it and my battery has never run down!

Take 4 hours for a full charge. Only keeps two days just for web browser. This is very annoying.
