Just updated to DL09 a few minutes ago and noticed the GPS icon as well (I don't like it...uglies up my status bar!). Is this a completely new feature, or just a setting that was changed. I noticed in the location settings, the E911 setting says it cannot be turned off on any cellular network. Is this new as well? I can't remember what it was previously.
the icon is new for the Dl09. It remindes me of my old v325 on verizon. It was always there too.
The e911 setting has always been that way on the Fascinate.
The GPS icon was added in DJ05 and carried over to DL09. It's probably here to stay on this phone.
