Exclamation OMG!! OMG!! OMG!! Galaxy Fit is BRICKED!!!

My phone's bricked. It's week old. I rooted it with SuperOneClick, Installed ROM MANAGER. On selecting flash Custom ROM it popped up a menu for selecting a download. On selecting any one, it downloaded it. As soon as I selected Backup ROM after that, It froze & crashed!!! AND NOW IT's BRICKED!

Please suggest all possible courses. I've tried all key combos, but it's not booting into any mode!

    Please, URGENT HELP REQUIRED.

I did pull battery, wait, then re-insert... No avail. How do I get into stock recovery? Volume rocker+Power?? I did that though.

I can't answer that. Because Galaxy Fit is a fairly new model out there. Not much has been updated about it's customisation compatibilities...

Hmmm. So the root method you got was compatible for it? Either way you need a stock image to flash. Not sure if there is anything out for it. A quick search didn't find any info for it.

Thanks for searching. I searched too, but couldn't find any. Root Method was apparently compatible. Because it said rooting successfully done, & the icon came on app menu too. But I didn't test it using Unofficial app installation. The phone bricked AFTER 'backup rom'...

Hmm. I really don't have much hands experience with samsungs, so I'm not sure what other courses of action to take. It doesn't even boot up?

    Hi gokussjx

I have a Samsung Galaxy Fit GT-S5670L. I don't know if it's possible, but if you know how, I can do something like an system image and give it to you...

    Maybe works...

If it's like other Samsungs, you'll need to flash a stock image (once it becomes available) through a computer program called Odin.
