    Question Samsung Galaxy Fit S5670 as Modem

    Recently purchased Samsung galaxy fit gt-s5670 android phone. My ultimate aim is to connect my laptop via mobile to internet. The applications new pc studio, pc studio 3.1 softwares doest not help me to connecting internet. These applications does not recognize this phone at all. My phone is running Android 2.1. Please let me know if anybody has succeeded connecting internet to laptop via mobile.

    You will need to root it and tether it or pay the monthly fee if your carrier has a tethering option. However, most carriers do not like you "stealing" from them by rooted tethering.
