I recently upgraded my OS from froyo to gingerbread via kies (official update). Before the update the gps was working just fine but now it doesnt seem to be working at all. The Gps icon keeps blinking. Are there any fixes for this? Thx in advance.

I recently upgraded my OS from froyo to gingerbread via kies (official update). Before the update the gps was working just fine but now it doesnt seem to be working at all. The Gps icon keeps blinking. Are there any fixes for this? Thx in advance.

Solved: The fix is to actually activate data services via your network operator. It turns out that wifi alone is not enough since your phone operator has some dedicated servers for satellites queries... I activated internet for my sim card and everything runs smoothly now.
