Problem When Receiving Call With Touchscreen with Galaxy Note

It has been a week and everything is working fine and when i received a call for first time, the screen did not respond my hand touch and i missed a call.
Then i tried with my friend's cell to call to my Galaxy note and still didn't work, both with the answer (Green Icon) and reject (red icon).......
Now i have no idea what to do and i have bought this device from Bangkok......
Is there something to do with the settings????????
Please, Please, Please..............help me out and give me some ideas to go on... since i have paid a huge amount, my savings on this phone and atlast it is malfunctioning ,,,,,please help me out early to what to do????????

My suggestion is that it was sold because it had that problem because someone messed up rooting it. Find the stock rom for your device and flash it to your device.
Unfortunately, this is why I have problems with craigslist and other various sites that sell devices.

When answering do you press the green icon and drag towards the centre of the screen?

If yes then just ignore me, if not, give it a try and let me know how you get on.

Do you know if the phone is stock or rooted? Did you root it or did it come rooted?

Also, have you rebooted the phone at all in that week?

Yes when I received my first call, i encountered the same problem then my friend taught me as advised by Bubba and no problem since.

Try that.
