About LinkBacksJust got the note a few days back as a gift. Very very pleased with the phone so far, however, the torch app that comes with the phone works sometime and doesn't work at times.
I keep clicking the icon but nothing happens. Any ideas how to sort it ?

Just got the note a few days back as a gift. Very very pleased with the phone so far, however, the torch app that comes with the phone works sometime and doesn't work at times.
I keep clicking the icon but nothing happens. Any ideas how to sort it ?

Wow....so this is not just a problem specific to my phone. Wondering if there's any way to uninstall the app and get something else from the google play market.
It happened to me too. I thought my Galaxy Note was just busy. Maybe it is the app, though. It is working fine for me now. I guess installing a second flashlight app and switching to it when Torch is on the fritz might help us to isolate the problem.
Try some of the apps from the market. You may not be able to, nor may you need to, uninstall any flashlight/torch app that comes on the phone.

mine did the same thing after the first few executions. It refused to work again until one dark night it suddenly started working again and every day since??????????
In camera settings make sure flash is enabled. This should get your torch working again.
Mine did same thing. Just get another from app store.
