Problem With Email on Samsung Galaxy Note

I had just update the latest firmware for samsung galaxy note. After update, the "email" is not functioning at all. Can anyone tell me how to solve this issue...or how to undo this update?

Same here. Not only that but it SGN also reports Twlauncher failed besides Email. Laggy and freezes. Another half baked product from Samsung..... if only I could go back to previous version!

GB to ICS it a major update. Try to do factory data reset, it help to solve a lots of error.

No problem here from GB to ICS with factory data reset.

Before you do: Is it Exchange Email?
Try to remove/forget account, reboot your phone and recreate it again.

If still fail...

Factory data reset:
Go to setting - back up and reset - factory data reset; or

3 button combo [Power+Home+VolumeUp].
Will boot to recovery..you will see the option there.

Thank you for trying to help but the Factory Reset now has no option listed except to delete all data on the phone. Needless to say I do not wish to do this. Anything less destructive?

Sorry forgot to mention it is not an Exchange mail account. Only Gmail

Yes..that is the factory data reset.
I dislike it too ..but for me that the best way to solve lots of error when Im upgrading from GB to ICS

Now;
- No lag
- No force close
- ...etc

I prefer to reset in recovery as I can clear cache and factory reset to let the ICS Firmware recaching and rebuild everything.

So sorry..this the best way I can propose.

Thanks again. Looks like my options are limited. Irks me to no end. So I guess I will give it a shot soon and will update here.
