Galaxy Note Randomly Shuts Down

I've had my note for about two months and I love it, but recently it has been shutting down 30 to 40 times a day. It only happens when I touch the power button to lock or unlock the device. It's almost like it stick because when it happens the box that has options like, shutdown, restart, pops up. Any advice on how to fix this issue?

I'm not real familiar with the Note, so I'm afraid I can't help you much on that front. If you can be patient and wait for awhile, one of our more knowledgeable staff members might be able to help you out on the problem.

I have the note also and I had that problem. Sometimes its due to a bad app or the app hangs up.

This issue exists on the Note 2 as well and it is not software related... The phone is flawed and shuts off on it's own under various conditions, all hardware related. One look at that short video and I am sure there will be some light bulbs going off. Be sure to read the details I provided on that site as well. They go in to detail about the problems that I have had and the lack of proper support that Samsung is willing to provide.
