Galaxy S2 makes a weird noise!!!!
Hello, I got my replacement Galaxy S2 today only to find out that the replacement was making a weird noise when i tap the back of it. I first thought it was the camera knocking around in its housing but now I don't know what It is. My previous Galaxy S2 didn't have this and Im just wondering if its normal and if its happening to anyone else. Just hold the phone horizontally and tap the back near top with your finger and if its like mine you will hear a sound like something is loose. Good luck and I look forward to hearing from some one.

Welcome to the forum. I would suggest returning your phone if it sounds like something is loose in it. Never wait when it comes to returning to your phone and hearing things rattling around in it.

Thank you
.
Its just that Its the second one I have had and I feel abit awkward to call my network up again and say that this one is faulty aswell.

Well i've just been tapping mine as instructed and thankfully there certainly doesnt sound like anything is loose. But bear in mind how thin the plastic back cover is, are you sure you weren't just hearing the thin plastic moving and tapping on the internal "gubbins" inside the phone?

Yep, I even took the cover off and tapped right at the top and I can still here the noise. Its almost like the camera lens is knocking against the glass protecting it. I could live with it if it was normal, but Im worried now.

Yeah double check to make sure your battery cover is snapped on securely.

I just checked again and even showed it to my sister boyfriend who noticed it immediately and even spotted about 30 dead pixels at the bottom of the screen! Im so annoyed.

Be patient and call your telco tell them the issue and get your replacement.

I think im going to in the morning. Im still in the 14 days so theoretically I am entitled to as many replacements needed. I just hope the next one is fine.
Cheers for all your help! Much appreciated.

Sounds like a good idea. Remember how many of these are stamped out per day. Quality Control can't check all of them -- so they don't bother.
Good luck! And remember, that 14 days is from the receipt of the last one you got.
