Network connection error in samsung galaxy s II
Recently I am facing the problem, that my galaxy s II connects to wifi but none of the applications like market share and Google Maps are working, it shows "A network error has occurred.retry or cancel and return to the previous screen". Moreover the wifi has good signal strength.
Has anyone came across this issue earlier..
Any ideas/suggestions are welcome.

Are you running any kind of encryption? Do you have a device IP conflict with another device on your network?

I have exactly the same issue. I have checked the IP addresses on the router and there are no conflicts. Any other ideas? The way I fix the problem is to turn off the wifi connection so that the phone has to switch to 3G and then and then turn it back on in the handset. This usually fixws it immediately but its annoying. Does this suggest its some conflict between 3G and wifi in the handset? Or is it a router issue?

It sounds like a hardware issue. That does not mean that something isn't interferring with the wifi connection. Is the phone rooted?
