So I purchased the Galaxy S2 a few days ago, fantastic and very fast phone in every aspect I use it for besides one very basic and annoying issue:
When having the headphones plugged in, listening to music or not. When the phone rings it not only rings through the headphones but also through the external speaker. Is there a way to turn
this off. So that all sound only comes through the headphones while they're plugged in?
Any help would be much appreciated.
I don't know if the stock Samsung ROM has that capability. I know it's built into my ROM.

So, does mine, I'm not sure on stock.
On Samsung devices it's part of the kernel logic that's over where audio is routed and when. So to change it you'd have to use a community built kernel that specifically advertises that feature.
Annoyed me too, solved with tasker!
