G'day!
Just got my very first smartphone yesterday... the Galaxy S2!
Now, as I'm a Droid-virgin, please bear with me for a second...
How can I transfer my Itunes songs onto my phone? Kies doesn't seem to work with Apple OS...
Thanks,
D.

Android.net is the premier Android Forum on the internet.
meanwhile, you should make sure the audio you transfered supported by Samsung Galaxy s 2
You can use Doubletwist from the Market.
here is the guide: How to put files on Galaxy S2
you can try it!
Hi,
Android is easy to use. Just get Doubletwist which is a free program for both Windows and Mac computer. You can use it transfer your iTunes media files to Samsung Galaxy S2 with few clicks. However, if your songs bought in iTunes Store then you need to get rid of the DRM protection before you can play it on your phone. Here is the guide how to remove iTunes DRM and transfer to Galaxy S2.
Hope it helps.

Apple uses DRM copy protection on all items purchased through the iTunes Store in order to prevent you from playing the songs anywhere but on Apple device. Galaxy S2 is not an iTunes supported device. If your Galaxy S2 is the primary device you plan to use for playing back songs on the go, I would suggest removing DRM from iTunes music files, 2 ways as follows:
1.Burn songs on iTunes. just Insert a blank CD. (You'd better use a rewrite CD which can be used circularly and use some software like Nero to wipe off the music files you have processed.)
Note: You need to change iTunes settings in "Edit"->" Preferences" before burn and import.
2. Another option would be to purchase software that automatically converts your iTunes purchases to MP3. I just stumble upon this tip to convert protected itunes Music Video files to Galaxy S2 for playback without quality loss and put itunes songs movie on galaxy s/s2. hope it helps![]()
Hi,
I have an iPhone 4 atm, but am due an updrage in a couple of months and have fallen in love with the new Galaxy S3 (leaning toward the blue one, very pretty). I've never used Android before, which is the only thing holding me back.
I've bought some songs from iTunes, if I was to use a software called wavepad and convert it to mp3, would that allow me to remove the protection so I can play it on the S3. Also, does Doubletwist program allow you to add features such a album art, lyrics and to create playlists, like with iTunes. I've seen footage of the S3's music player which has all of that, just not sure how I would do it on the pc - and I love those kind of customisable features.
One last thing; what about iTunes movies? Are they lost forever or will they (m4v) play on S3?
Thanks.
P.S. just seen link about how to remove DRM from music and vids, (thanks), but the parameters that you set are for the GS2, does anyone know of the settings for the GS3? (I know it's new and I'm probably being a bit dim, but I'd appreciate the feedback).
