Password Protect Files in SGS II?

How can I use password to protect my files and other folders in SGS II? Also, how do I lock the phone so no one logs in without a password?

    Thanks.

To set your phone up to where you have a password, pin number, or a pattern you go to Settings, Location and Security, Screen Unlock Settings. To protect stuff inside of the phone use Visidon Applock from the market. It uses facial recognition or a passcode to launch protected apps.

I have seen the Visidon App and read the details. I will prefer ONLY password protection for now. Does it provide for that else which other app does?

    Many thanks.

What are you trying to do? Block people from using your phone? Hide things from others? What? I ask because there are various different options and I want to understand so I can properly tell you what would work.

All of those and more. Eset can block people but I don't seem sure if it can protect files. Still fiddling with it. By the way, it keeps requesting for password confirmation all the time. Don't know if it is a bug or am not using it correctly.

    Thanks.

Eset is in beta stage right now which means it's going to have bugs. There is no need for Eset imo because if you use the password lock that comes with your phone no one can use your phone. Also any anti-virus or anti-malware is nothing but a battery hog right now. Only way to catch a virus is if you download 3rd party apps that are not from android market or Amazon.

Help me understand what's the desire for fake calls?

Update: goto settings>applications and make sure the unknown sources box is not checked. That box allows for installation of apps that are not in the android market to be installed on your phone. That helps alleviate the possibility of virus', malware, etc.

Ok. So I can uninstall the ESET. The fake call helps you out of an awkward situation.
