holding the power button accidently!?
Hi everyone,
Got the Galaxy S2 and it's a pretty amazing.
Has anyone noticed that holding the power button down for sometime actually turns the phone off? like its meant to (I guess) but even when the screen is locked? I've managed to do this accidently a few times while the phone has been in my pocket! quite annoying.
Guess this is more annoying than anything, still love the phone though!

I'm a noobie and have never even seen that awesome phone, so please dont laugh at the dumb thing i'm about to say but: isn't that how you're supposed to turn it off? I'm sure somebody that knows will come along soon to help you. There's some great people around here. Good luck!

Like I said, i'm probably the last person to take advice from. But on my Optimus (please don't laugh) thats how I turn it off whether the lock is on or not. Take care.

I didn't know that about any phones. I always assumed you had to power if off by telling it to turn off in the OS after tripping the vibration with the power button.

It happens with certain models.

It is the same for many phones, even when locked. But really strange that it happens in you pocket.
