    Gmail, Email and Social Hub

    Hi,

    I would like to request help with my samsung galaxy s II X or "Hercules" which is being provided by Telus mobility. I am having trouble with receiving and sending emails with my gmail accounts. The gmail accounts doesn't always reflect new emails right away. I have to manually refresh the account to get them to come in. I have checked the auto syncing feature in settings on the phone and at first it wasn't checked on. I've since checked it but it doesn't stay checked on. The email and the social hub don't reflect the newest emails at all. In fact, once I saw one come in on the social hub and it quickly disappeared even before I could read it. I have 1 read message sitting there from Jan 29 of this year & the other gmail account has 6, the oldest from jan 27th. This is within the social hub. Any insight on this issue? I would really appreciate it.

    Hi Songlee,

    Keep checking your sync is enabled to your email and social media accounts you want things to come from are checked, check both the background data and autosync are ticked.

    If the problem still persists, remove the profile/delete from phone and install your profile/email address again.

    Once done, check you 3g connection receives emails, compare it to your wifi connection.
