Wifi and 4G Shuts Down
Hi Everyone -
I recently purchased a T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S2 (SGH-T989). I am happy with the speeds of the phone, especially since my previous phone was Sprint, and the 4G didn't work at all. There are two problems I am having, though, that are minor annoyances. When I'm idle and at home, I usually have the Wifi on to connect to my home network. After a few minutes, it usually disconnects and turns on 4G, without me doing anything. Similarly, sometimes when I am idle, the 4G seems to stop responding and I have to put it into airplane mode and then back out again to get it to reconnect to the 4G network.
Has anyone else seen this issue? Could it be one of the applications I'm using (e.g. Juice Defender)?
Thanks,
~jwir3

Have not had that experience. I would uninstall juice defender. It is more than likely the culprit. Never needed a "battery saver". Look at it like this, if it "saves" battery and data; then what the frenchtoast is the reason why it runs in the backround? So, if it's constantly running to "save" battery then it is using power to do so. Kind of counter productive.
