    No Preview in Windows

So, when i navigate to the DCIM folder, on the phone, through windows explorer, i don't get any preview of the images. The icons are just the icons for the image file type, so i can't see what the images are without copying them somewhere else on my computer first, this is a huge pain in the ass.

I'm surprised it does this, but since i'm moving from an iphone (which does) i was a little surprised. Is there something i'm doing wrong or missing, a setting or update somewhere which isn't allowing me to see these previews with the icons.

OR, is it just not possible to see these previews (icon or preview pane)?

Thanks! I found out the answer (sort of) so i thought i would post it in case anyone else is wondering.

The problem is that i'm not attaching the phone as a USB device. Coming from an iPhone i never even thought i would have to do that because.. why is it NOT set to be a USB device as soon as you plug it in, what is the benefit to not? The iPhone does and it works just fine..

AAAAAAANYWAY. In case anyone has the same problem, you have to go to; Settings -> Wireless and network -> USB Utilities -> Connect storage to PC and connect it that way, then you'll get the icons (uugh)..

So, new question, if anyone knows of a QUICKER way to do it, a button, or a setting that will make it a USB device as soon as i plug it in, or an app or anything, please let me know.
