depending on whether I enter the appt in my google calendar or directly on the phone.
Is there a way to make all appts use the same color? I don't need the busy-ness of different colors; it's actually kinda distracting.

added: and I can't edit the google synced entries! OMG, that's just ridiculous--I must be missing how to do that.

Android.net is the premier Android Forum on the internet.
Go to settings/accounts/your Google account and make sure that calendar is checked. If your stock calendar won't sinc, you can always try a third party app like Jorte that syncs with Google and works pretty well.

I didn't say the calendar won't sync, as your reply seems to be addressing.
I'm referring to the synced appts being color coded and wanting to remove this annoying feature. I don't want appts appearing in different colors--no use for it.
Which is why I also prompted you to JORTE as an alternative.
