Hi every everyone i would just like to ask if anyone else has the same problem as me with the samsung galaxy s2 I get notification and sound with sms email gmail but I only get a notification in the bar and no sound with a lot of apps like words with friends drawsomthing and other apps thanks for your time

Have you tried to adjust volume in the settings? Note that there are about 4-6 different sounds (media, calling, system etc.) So your volume buttons aren't enough. And make sure the phone isn't in silent mode.

I checked and its not on silent and all the volumes are up I get sound notification for ring sms emails but games and some other apps don't sound notification I just see it up in the notification bar I'm running 4.0.3 thanks for your help

If you get sounds of SMS, then Notification sounds are alright.
Games, you mean you can't hear game sounds or only notifications of the games? Can you hear music playing?

You mentioned apps like Words with friends. Check the settings of the apps, maybe the sound is turned off within the application.

Yep sound is on in the game and in the apps I have notice that it vibrates but no sound and all the other sounds are there I can hear them when I got the phone I updated to 4.0.3 could it be that it thanks

dazzawaz, you might be better served posting your question on our sister forum - Samsung Galaxy Forum - the Rescue Squad over there are very familiar with your phone and it's various problems. Plus, they're really nice guys to boot.
