I have reset my phone and shut it down, and no difference. I didn't do the factory reset, because to me that implies losing all my data on the phone (e.g. having to reinstall all of my apps, losing lists, etc.). If it's something not as severe as that I'd be willing to give it a shot first.

Uninstall swype and reinstall it. Try from there.

Found a solution:

Force quit and clear all stored data for swype (settings > applications > all > swype), and it should work. Only little quirk is that any time I type something, I get a little keyboard icon in my notifications bar that's asking me to select my input. When I click it, it doesn't actually let me select Swype. It only lets me check/uncheck the voice to text. Swype is working now though, albeit it not flawlessly.

At last I upgraded mine.. So far so good..

I have not noticed any glitches yet..
It looks almost the same as gb. Some things I noticed, like some of the reviews I read, there is a keyboard icon when qwerty pad is activated when typing and when I drag down the notification bar, it says select input method. Can it be stopped or closed?

The hold-homebutton function opens the active apps and it has a cool interface.. What else? I gotta find out more when I explore more.

I noticed that when I drag the notif bar downward to open it, some times it automatically opens wifi.
