I'm really not sure why that happens, but at least I have an idea. You know, there's a lot of giant sized games on Google Play like "contract killer", or "the dark knight rises" game. If you have one of them on your phone, and especially if you allow them to update automatically, they may update without having you noticed and their updates may occupy a considerable amount of your phones memory. I gave the example of big sized apps, because I think their updates are also big sized, but any small sized app can even occupy memory, if you have lots of them automatically updating on your phone... Hope I helped you.

Because Facebook along with Google's browser remembers what you use. Go to your apps and clear the cache for individual apps. Then log into web browser tap menu>settings and clear the cache etc and do not worry about what you see is available for memory. Just once a week or two repeat the aforesaid process.

Check the processes that are active at the moment. Maybe it's not a FB app that eats your battery.

The pictures in your gallery eat up a ton of your phones internal memory.
