Yeah good choice picking the s3, it is what i have and i love it.......
Hi, I just got the S3 and love it... the rest of the family have iphone 4S and I wasn't going there! found this forum as I am having trouble with S-Planner app. I don't seem to be able to get events to repeat every 2 weeks. (of course the iphone crowd loved that!). Any tricks to get round that? Any updates coming to fix it?

If I remember correctly the S planner is only working on the international version right now. I'm sure a future update will fix that, but you may want to double check on that forum over there. Great group of s3 owners over there.

Welcome new Android user! And THANKS for not calling it a "Droid" phone. That's one of my biggest pet peeves! "Droid" was a phone made by Motorola, not an operating system.
Anyway... you're going to LOVE the GS3. I kept getting cheapy crappy Android phones because I just NEEDED an Android phone and I was too cheap/poor to get better ones. My last phone was a Samsung Exhibit II. I thought it was ok, but once I got the GS3, it was a major upgrade. I was transferring stuff from my Exhibit II and it was so painfully slow and the screen was so unresponsive. This is going to be my phone for a long time... until the GS4 comes out
