Farsi (Persian) Fonts are Not Shown on Samsung Galaxy S

I have recently bought a Samsung Galaxy S. It does not display Persian/Farsi text correctly. The texts are displayed from Left to Right instead of Right to Left and the letters are not linked in words. It is almost impossible to read the eMails that I receive in Farsi. I am sure that Samsung/Android provide the Right to Left Languages for the Middle East and Orient.
Can any body guide me to Download the required software to make my Smart Phone more useful.

What is the exact model of your Galaxy S? If it's an i9000, are there any letters immediately following i9000?

Best way to tell is to look under the battery.

I have exactly the same issue with mu Samaung purcahsed a month ago. I will post a note if I can find a solution.

Download firefox browser for android from the market and view persian web sites using that browser. Still thereis a problem with bbc persian web sure since they changed their appearance but all other persian sites can be seen with firefox.

I don't have Galaxy s but I have the same problem on my galaxy s2 and i know what are u talking about
u have to root ur galaxy and get Farsi rom (multi language rom)
I'm waiting to get this rom for my S2 aswel

سلام امیدوارم حالت خوب باشه،.من دنباله این فارسی روم بودم که تو یک سایت دیدم که این روم رو واسه گالکسی گذاشته بودن و واسه خیلی ها هم جواب داده بود ولی با روت کردن تلفن گارانتی رو از دست میدی و باید بقول معروف ریسک کنی

when i receive persian messages via sms, the alphabet is separated from each other, i think we should install some persian fonts, but i donno how to find them, help plz, thx in advance
