Remove preinstalled Sprint apps?
I just got the Samsung Intercept for Sprint last week. I really like the phone. What I don't like is useless preinstalled Sprint apps such as Nascar, Sprint Footballl, Sprint Zone, and AmazonMP3 (which manages to run in the background even after I kill it). These applications don't show up in the manage applications menu in settings. Does anyone know of any way to remove these apps?

The only way to remove those apps is to root the phone and use the super user permissions to manually delete the apps from the phone. To be honest, you're better off just leaving them on. They run in the background, but they aren't using power or cpu. They just sit in memory so they can launch faster. Task killers are bad and all versions of Android past 2.1 don't allow for them anyway, so you might as well start kicking the habit now. Just don't worry so much what is running and you won't really notice anything.
If you do decide to root, check out http://forums.xda-developers.com/. I think they have a section for the Intercept...
