Car Charging problem

Hello everyone,

I have a problem with the phone when its car charging. I'm not sure if its an android thing or the intercept but when it gets a full charge in the car, it stops charging but after it loses some of its charge starts back up with the sound to accompany it. Its not so bad except every 5 minutes I hear a sound that sounds like I got a notification of some sort. Is there an app or way to fix this?
