    Try a new USB cable.
I gave my iPhone to my 5 year old and got an EVO.

I am having the same issue on my Windows PC. However, I have a netbook running Linux and this machine recognizes both this phone and the Zio I had before I traded up with no problems. This leads me to believe it is a software issue between the Linux kernels on the phones and Windoze...do other Android devices have this issue? I think I remember seeing this a few times in forums with other Android phones too. Maybe 2.2 will fix this bug.

I am running Win 7 64-bit. After connecting the USB cable that came with the phone you have to look in the notifications (swipe from the top of the screen) and then tap USB CONNECTIONS and MOUNT.

ok, so I've done everything..debugged, turned on off, new cable but there is still no option for mount. Any suggestions?

    drivers

I had the same problem and downloaded the driver form Samsung's website. After installing the drivers I had no problem with my computer recognizing it.

Here is the link to Samsung's drivers page:

Add me to this chorus. Got my Samsung Transform on Black Friday. Have not successfully gotten it to connect to either my Windows 7 (64-bit) PC or this older Windows 7 Gateway system. What happens on BOTH computers is that it immediately locks up the cordless mouse (one 64 bit gateway FX6800 has a Logitech keyboard and cordless mouse, and this system has a Microsoft cordless mouse). This is beyond....way beyond frustrating. I'm not getting any help other than reset the phone but you know, my wife's Transform does the same thing to the computers. I am starting to very much not like these 'smart' phones.

I still have not quite figured this one out. The Transform will connect and it says it's mounted on my Windows Vista system, but I can't copy files to the card reliably. On the Linux system I have no issues at all still. So that is the system I sync and backup to.

So, I'm with QuantumRift in that I'm starting to not like these less than smart "smart" pones as well. Funny thing is, and I hate to say it especially hear, I have never had these issues with my blackberry and windows (wouldn't work for stink on linux though).
