EVO 4G Causes Major Activation Problems

According to numerous reports, Sprint has been having issues all day handling the massive amount of customers purchasing and activating the EVO 4G. A recent post from BoyGeniusReport indicates that the entire system has bit the dust and that lots of customers are being sent home with partially activated EVOs.

Yeah my buddy's EVO isn't fully activated yet. He's an iPhone convert and even in its current state he is loving it. Hopefully when I get mine in the next few days they will have these issues worked out.

I'm from Puerto Rico and the Sprint store said we do not have available a 4G speed here just 3G this was after I buy mine last Friday.. DanDroid This is correct? when I can get a real 4G and enjoy that speed tech..

4G is only in some select US cities, so I wouldn't be surprised if they don't have it in PR yet.

If 4G is available in SOME states, then why are we paying the extra $10 for 4G when I can't even use it?
