I updated my EVO earlier today without any issues that I've noticed so far. I hadn't seen the warning not to update, guess I should have checked here first. Probably wouldn't have accepted. Hopefully no issues will come up in the next few days. Is there a way to restore phone to previous state?
I updated mine and my wife's and hers seemed to be fine, in mine the only weird thing was a notice that the voice message widget and the power control widget could not be loaded ( I had shortcuts in the main screen.
I just removed the notice and put back the shortcuts, everything else seems to run fine so far.
unfortunately I update my phone before I have the chance to see this warning. but so far is good I'll keep you posted if any problem arise
6/29/10 5:00AM- just did the update...again! It updated earlier yesterday also. This time it was a LONG update and I thought it froze, but it seems to be fine now.
I also have no problem after update. Just one question at this point. Does anyone know how voice calling works now with Bluetooth? Update supposed to fix it. Can't find how to work it.
The only update request that I recieved yesterday was for the HTC EVO 4G OTA Update (1.47.651.1, improves wifi)This came about right after I setup my voicemail. Crossing my fingres that my EVO does not end up as a brick.
I was one the update didn't go well for. I am currently trying to get it replaced, but so far no love.
