I know that the update is still floating around the net on some of the forums if you don't want to wait. Patience is not one of my virtues so I spent the entire day yesterday checking for the update.

I guess I already am. Been running it since last night without a hitch. I did have to do a factory reset to get the cameras working but I was planning on doing that anyways.

Yeah but are you still rooted or did you get the real OTA update from somewhere?

I was never rooted. I've been waiting for a compelling reason to root and haven't found one yet. I got the update directly from HTC's website when they posted it for an hour or so. I am currently running software version 3.26.651.3, which is the official OTA build according to Sprint.

Man i was afraid. I didnt know if i was gonna do it all the way up to where i had to apply update.zip. Thought what the heck and did it. After the phone rebooted it got stuck in the boot screen for several minutes and i thought oh $h!t but all was well. Just putting it through its paces now

Good to know Jak. Now I won't freak so bad when it hangs on me.

I kinda freaked when the last update rebooted a couple of times and hung on the boot screen for a couple of minutes, but i was busy doing other things and just left it. I'm glad I DIDN'T know then what I know now about it.

Yeah the whole process took about 20 minutes. The phone rebooted multiple times and it seemed to freeze a couple times but it worked. I'll admit, it was nerve wracking to a degree but was well worth it, obviously.
