    Washington fears Chinese Cyber war?

Huawei and ZTE to supply telecommunications to Sprint? No, WSJ announces that both Huawei and ZTE will be left out of a multi-billion dollar contract where they would have been the lowest bidders. The reason: national security concerns. The US Secretary of Commerce states that Sprint should not allow companies with possible connections to the Chinese government to supply US communications. This was also backed by 8 US senators. The DoD (Department of Defense) is concerned about China’s capabilities in cyber-warfare. Sounds like theres some strong fear out there.

Its also the reason that Sprint would never be sold to a foreign concern. Just like MCI before it, Sprint holds numerous DOD contracts and is a Tier one internet provider.
