    Sprint 4G Network Updates

    [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7z7Qfq3MSVo]YouTube - Wiring Up 4G in Los Angeles: Capacity[/ame]

    The speed of 4G is quickly going across the nation, with some new cities being added to Sprints network. Just a few days ago, the Sprint WiMax network was launched in some Ohio, DC and Florida cities. These cities have been calling for the upgrade for some time now, and here is the list for those who are wondering.

    • Los Angeles, CA
    • Miami, FL
    • Washington D.C.
    • Cleveland, OH
    • Cincinnati, OH
    • Columbus, OH

    Now does that not look like great progress? Any readers in these towns?

    I have been in both orlando and daytona and signal coverage has not been good enough for me to try. Hope they improve it so I can at least try it.

    4G in Columbus had been hinted at by a Sprint employee, so when I got my Epic, I'd switch 4G on periodically. I've had 4G where I work for a while, and have seen it working in other parts of the city before it was announced. I live well outside of the 4G area though, so it doesn't work for me near home, but it is great here in the northeastern part of the city. I was kind of surprised to see it in Columbus (which usually gets ignored) this early, but not unhappy about it! We switched to Sprint from VZW because of coverage issues with VZW where our daughter goes to school, and we've not been disappointed.
