Nexus S 4G OTA Update Rolling Out; Includes Google Wallet, Shopper & Security Fixes

The Nexus S 4G, currently the only phone available with an NFC chip in it, should be getting an OTA update over the next 4 days. This new update, version GWK74, brings with it a couple of cool features and fixes, not the least of which is Google Wallet support. Yep, that's right... you can now start using that NFC chip to make credit card payments with your phone at select retailers. The update also comes with Google Shopper and a number of security fixes for the phone. Starting today, September 20th, you can head in to a Sprint store to have them help you do it manually if you want the update sooner.

What if your Nexus S 4G is rooted?

How will this affect the OTA update? Can/should I update my rooted Nexus? Will this mess things up? Let me know!

    Thanks
    Josh
