This is a discussion on How Long Have You Been With Sprint? within the Sprint forums, part of the Android Phone Carriers category; August '04...
Less then 1 year

2 to 3 years
3 to 4 years
4 to 5 years
5 to 6 years
I had sprint from 2000-2004, then I switched to AT&T and recently switched back to Sprint because of the all mighty EVO!!!!
When did they first allow porting of numbers? I did it literally the day that went into effect. I had US cellular, but started with them when they were Wisconsin Cellular, then Cell one, then US cellular.
Sprint is way better.
Feb 4th 2009, Since then I've added two additional lines one for my Business partner and the other Broadband card for when we're out at the races supporting our clients. But that card may get closed out as soon as I can get my hands on an EVO to play with it. So far I'm on Three waiting lists and I'm going on Week two with no call backs.
Well, husband died March 4, 2000 and I signed up right after that so over 10 years and I am a Premier member due to the tenure.
December of 1999, when I got my dual-band Samsung flip phone. Man, I thought I was high tech!!!
If you count Nextel, it's been since 2002, when I got my first cell phone. Never been with anyone else, except I have a Verizon wireless card for the laptop.
I started with Sprint in 1984 for my land-line service! At the beginning it was U.S. Sprint, but they dropped the U.S. sometime in the 90s as I recall. When the Bell monopoly was broken up in the 80s, all phone users were assigned to the companies that were awarded contracts through the divestiture, so that's how I got started with them. When I went mobile, it was logical to stick with them.
Do I win?
I've had the same number the whole time. Sprint is/was my first and only cell phone provider! Every time I think about leaving, Sprint comes out with something new and fresh that encourages me to stay... Yay EVO!!!!!
