just curious on this add it says free calls thru wifi using google. Does this mean you can make voice calls with your data connection?
LOL i just tried to look at the add and its small as hell. Basically it says Sprint now offer's free voice calls on wifi.

I read or heard that Google is now going to offer, or is already offering a Skype-like service. I don't know anything more than that though.
For myself I can't see using anything like that when I never even approach the ONLY limit in my plan, which is 1500 minutes during the day to land-lines.
I gave my iPhone to my 5 year old and got an EVO.

Yea Rich the only appeal of this to me is maybe being able to call my friends in canada for free. I'm assuming if its data calling you could call international

I have phone service through Brighthouse at home, and I do my international calling through that. I can call New Zealand for about a nickel. I found out the hard way that international texts cost $0.20 each. That sux too.

I'm pretty sure it's google voice that allows you to do that. If you've never heard of it, you should check it out, it's pretty neat what you can do with it.
