Help Sync Android (Epic) contacts to gmail
Hi all - still sort of new to Android, so please bear with me...
When I first activated my phone I didn't want to sync contacts with my gmail account (I just didn't use it that much).
I set up to receive mail on my phone, but when creating the actual contacts I didn't click to save contact to 'Google'.
So, I've individually loaded all my contacts into my Epic, and have come to the realization that if anything happens to my device I have no backup of my contacts.
Is there a way to reverse sync gmail to copy all my contacts from my device?
If not, is there another way to backup my contacts onto my mac?
Thanks for the advice, and sorry for the novice question...
Rick

Figured it out... for anyone who may be interested in knowing...
Save your contacts to your SD card - log into your gmail account, hook phone to computer, import your contacts. Delete your contact list on your device, then sync to gmail.

When I got my Intercept I was having kind of the opposite problem. Won't go into details. But if you export your contacts to your SD card, then hitch up the phone to your mac via USB and mount the phone, you can open the exported contacts in Apple's Address book, Wayne.
