Ha! Motorola can't even give an update to 1000 people without hangups...Camera still stinx for a 5mp...my nokia e71x's 2.3mp camera is light years ahead of this crap...I see zero changes and I'm certain that come next week I will be returning this sub-par android device for the HTC Aria..Hell, the motorola site itself is not even up at the moment...Who's running that place? Obama? He certainly couldn't do any worse a job then they are....A COMPLETE DISAPOINTMENT. I grade Motorola about a 3 or 4 out of 10 with handling this device...Obviously they are not trying as hard as they should be...Good ridence, backflip.

Just got the 1337 update and I'm thrilled. I started trying for the update at 9ET even though I was at work. After getting completely disappointed at 11 that my attempts all failed I gave up. I pulled out my phone at noon on my lunch break and the update sms waa there waiting for me.

Most notably, the compass ACTUALLY WORKS NOW. My battery is probably 30% higher than it would normally be at this point in the day. The camera seems a bit more responsive, but that may just be wishful thinking. Still checking everything out. If I notice anything else I will let you know.
Don't speak to me of the crunch. You know nothing of the crunch.
You've never even been to the crunch.

A couple things to remember here.
    1) This thread is about the Maintenance update, not the Nokia e71x or Obama. neither is it about the HTC Aria which, although coming preloaded with a newer version of Android, will cost you lots of money.
    2) The people in this thread are probably not interested in how "well run" the Motorola website is, since most of the files we find are uploaded from android geniuses.
    3) If you have so many complaints about the device, call the Backflip Support line at 800-734-5870. (I received this number from a tier 2 tech representative who was helping me diagnose signal problems in my area... turns out a tower was down.)
    4) The Nokia E71x has a 3.2 megapixel camera, not a 2.3.

Great! I too tried getting this update while on my lunch break, but sadly our building has no AT&T service and by the time it was halfway downloaded, they pulled it from the servers and my battery was half drained

I hope someone manages to post a URL to the update here soon!
    Cheers

Sir, you are correct. I am wrong..I think that at first I was quick to pop off as I didn't notice a difference.

However, after messing around with the device for a little bit, I HAVE noticed changes. Camera is, in fact, quicker in opening up and taking a shot. Homescreen apps and "slide to answer" seems much smoother. I do see many changes and I have to accept the fact that I was wrong. For that I apoligize.

As far as the Motorola site's red tape,(and Obama's), I have to stand by my statement.

(yes, the 2-3/3-2 thing was quite obviously a typo.)

Anybody else able to get 13.37. I check the software update but it keeps saying that none are available.
