HTCís long rumored 10-inch Android tablet, codenamed the HTC Puccini, may be hitting the market very soon. It has just passed through the FCC today, signaling an imminent launch. This is also in line with rumors that mass production was slated for June with a release sometime in July.

The HTC Puccini could be AT&Tís first 4G LTE tablet. The FCC tests reveal that the Puccini supports AT&Tís existing 3G (WCDMA bands II and V) but that it also supports the carrierís brand new LTE network on both the 700 and 1700MHz bands. This could explain the delay of the tablet, which was originally scheduled for a release in the first half of the year, since AT&T has just begun expanding its 4G LTE network this summer.

A larger brother to the 7-inch HTC Flyer, the HTC Puccini sports a 10-inch 1280◊800 resolution screen but will boast a similar multi-touch and stylus capable display. Itís believed to feature a 1.5GHz Qualcomm dual-core processor and will come running Android 3.0.1.
