HTC in collaboration with Tata Docomo unveiled the new QWERTY plus touch smartphone- HTC Chacha. The Chacha is also being marketed as the Facebook phone by HTC.

The Chacha has a 2.6-inch capacitive touchscreen with QWERTY keypad and runs on an 800MHz processor. It runs Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread, has a 5MP camera with auto-focus and LED flash and expandable memory up to 32GB. It has Wi-Fi, 3G, A-GPS, Bluetooth 3.0 with A2DP and can also transform into a WiFi hotspot which solves all your connectivity woes.

The USP of Chacha is the dedicated Facebook button which lets you do all that the social networking website is famous (updating status, uploading photos, sharing a link etc.) for with just one click.

The collaboration with Tata Docomo means that 3G users get 3GB of data and 3 hours of mobile TV for the first three months. Subscribers of 2G will get 3GB of free data and 300 free minutes (Tata-to-Tata) for the first three months.
