New Android Market App, version 3.1.5, Available for Download

There is a new version of the Android Market app available for download now. It's a challenge to see how it is different, because it looks identical, but from the reports we have been hearing, it is faster. This leads us to believe that the primary changes they made were simply optimizations and improvements for performance. If you notice anything else that seems different sound off in the forums. how do you find out what version you have

Any specific requirements to find if the version is compatible?

I answered my own question. Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > Market

So far all I am getting is the mixed reviews about the new Android market App. Some witnessed reduction in the size of the things on the landing page. Some encountered apps incompatible with the current phone. I haven’t updated it yet. I would do that first thing and get back to you.
