Verizon Nexus One Released
This is a discussion on Official Nexus One VERIZON thread! within the Verizon forums, part of the Android Phone Carriers category; WTFFF??? Verizon Nexus One Released...
If I see ONE MORE PERSON post this ridiculous ass backward article, so help me...!!!
It is not real. How can anyone think that a no-name blog called "ozcarguide" would know about the Verizon N1 release before anyone else? Ridiculous.
People, go ahead and search Google for the N1 on Verizon. I'm doing it too. But for the love, please learn to filter out the BS before coming and posting it here for the thousandth time.
With the rumors flying around that Verizon is holding up the N1's release, I am giving this another week. After that I may consider jumping to another network, where good phones are actually present.
Surely Verizon execs have heard the 23 rumors around, and as such it would be responsible to give some type of press release given the atmosphere around the interwebz.
Here the thing, if Verizon purposefully stalls, and waits for another one of their phones that they can sell to release, effectively leaves the Nexus One left stranded and unwanted, how pissed do you think Google's going to feel about Verizon? If Verizon wasn't planning on promoting the phone, they should have never accepted to offer it, and not wasted Google's time in creating a compatible verizon. The CDMA version cleared FCC over a month ago.
I mean, the Android OS, built by Google is in high demand. What if they do the same thing back to Verizon in the form of lack of (or no) updates, or disallowing VZ phones to use that OS overall (not to say that's smart either)? What about the next Google phone?
Somebody dropped the ball.
Verizon Holding up Google Nexus One Release? And who is holding up Sprint from releasing it on their Network?
Every information out there are rumors and re 100% wrong. This is fact:
Nexus One is available on Tmobile and ATT LOL sorry guys. fact is fact and fake is exactly that
Why would VZW ask Google to do this? Take your pick:
1. to sell more Droids
2. to sell more Droid Eris phones
3. to wait until after the Incredible is ready -- VZW would rather you buy the Incredible than the N1.
Why do so many of you have a hard time believing that Verizon is likely responsible for the hold up?
Question: If I root an incredible can I erase the Sense UI and just run android? And can one un-underclock a processor via rooting?
Another reason google is not pushing assets through the telcos is because they want create new ways users purchase devices and contract.
